I'm going to be attending the 2010 Wise Traditions Conference. I'm getting very excited to go to the conference for the first time! The Conference will be held in King of Prussia, PA, just outside of Philadelphia. As a Real Food Media blogger, I will be meeting, and joining up with other real food bloggers. I'm looking forward to meeting all of them who will be there! Here is the banner for some of the Real Food Media Bloggers I get to meet in person! L to R Jenny @ Nourished Kitchen, Ann Marie @ CHEESESLAVE, Kelly the Kitchen Kop, and Kimberly Hartke is Online. (I've met her in person already!)
There are going to be many topics, and speakers. Topics range from Traditional Native Diets, Healing Tooth Decay, Cancer Prevention and Treatments, Sustainable Farming, Heart Health, and sooo much more! I'm planning on definitely hearing Rami Nagel speak about Healing Tooth Decay.
I've read his book, and have been working on healing my teeth, through a Nourshing Diet. I'm planning on hearing from Sally Fallon Morell, the Weston A. Price Foundation's President. She will be speaking ALL day about Traditional Health and Native Diets.
We also get to hear from the famous farmer, Joel Salatin of Polyface Farms. (I've been fortunate to meet him as well! Click here for a photo of when I met him and a little video clip to hear him speak!) Polyface is a farm that i've been grateful to enjoy food from this summer! Nourishing pastured eggs and meats!
Mostly, I'm really excited to take a break in my own kitchen, and relish in the nourishing creations of the conference menu! Let's take a gander at some of the feast:

....And that's just ONE of the meals!
If you are able, you should attend this conference, even if it's just for one of the days. You can still register, and hopefully get in before it's a sell-out! They are expecting their largest turn-out ever! You can pay per day, or even walk through the exhibition hall for free! They even have child-care!
If you can't make it, I will be posting photos and blogging about what's going on from the conference! And, at the very least- I hope you will look more into incorporating more methods of truly traditional nourishing foods in your and your family's diets.
For me, a great tool was this book, Nourishing Traditons. It is written by Sally Fallon Morell, the president of the Weston A. Price foundation. Stay posted for a Giveaway of this fabulous book! I will be posting the giveaway soon to celebrate my journey of finding and embracing real food in my life and the healing, health and happiness it has brought to me. I'm giving a brand new copy of this book away to one of you, in hopes that is will start a journey in your life to health, healing and wellness! And to share part of the Weston A. Price conference with a lucky one of my readers!
