Traditional vs. Industrial

TraditionalTraditional Foods Traditional foods...are foods that have nourished people for thousands or millions of years. If your great grandmother could have eaten the food, it is probably a traditional food.

IndustrialIndustrial Foods Industrial foods...are foods that have been created in the past 100 years - these foods are generally manufactured in a factory and have minimal, if any, nutritional value.

Examples include...
Traditional Food: Meat from grass-fed, free roaming animals

Industrial Food: Meat from animals in confinement who are fed an unnatural diet of grains that are usually genetically modified. These animals may never go outside and often suffer from health problems which is why they are routinely given antibiotics

More examples to come :)
